The Backyard at Bee Cave

An Austin tradition, the Backyard first opened its door in 1993. With such
legendary alumni as Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Paul Simon, The Allman Brothers,
and Willie Nelson, the Backyard is known across the country for great music
performed in a personal, yet beautiful setting and renowned natural
environment.


Building on this legend, The Backyard is back at an exciting, new location.
A natural, open aired venue located in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country,
this one-of-a-kind venue will play host to music as varied as the people of
Austin. Carrying on the tradition of the Legendary Backyard, this venue
creates a natural, comfortable, and unique environment for artists and fans.
The Backyard has taken into consideration the rapid changes to the
environment around us, and has pledged to the green initiative. Using
cutting edge techniques to help sustain
the environment which it is set upon, the Backyard will serve as a monument
to the nation on the necessity of green practices and set an example for how
music can help to create an atmosphere of change and success.

The Backyard is looking forward to its first season at the new location in
the Spring of 2010.
